Over 40+ years of experience.
I got involved with the “natural horsemanship” concepts early in the 1990’s by attending clinics with Pat Parelli, Larry Stewart, Monty Roberts and the late Peter Campbell, and endeavour to follow the sound principles instilled in me by those mentors. I believe that ground manners matter, and that they are an essential part of building trust, connection and a deeper bond with your horse.
Other than friends or family, I found that there is a definite void in the equine industry, where someone can request help with their equine behaviour issues in a time frame that works for them. Sending your horse to an outside trainer for 30-60-90 days is great for your horse, but unless YOU are involved in the process, you will still lack the necessary skillset to prevent the recurrence of the undesired behaviour patterns.
I’m dedicated to providing a stress free learning environment while working through equine related problems, both real and perceived, to facilitate a willing partnership of horse and rider through a holistic approach to feel, timing and savvy
